Justine Ruhindi

Justine Ruhindi Justine Joan was born in 1952 in Nyakishenyi, South Western Uganda. She went to various Schools in the present Kanungu District and finalized her Primary School Education at Ruhandazi Primary School, Kambuga in Kanungu District.

She later joined a Teacher training College in Mbarara District and qualified as a Primary school teacher. Justine taught in many schools in Kanungu and Kampala Districts and later went back to college to upgrade as a Secondary School teacher.

She soon found herself in the United Kingdom UK, where she lived and worked and then went to University of East London and did a Bsc in Social Policy Research. Justine returned to Uganda in 2010. She started working with Agency for National Development in May 2011, as a Director, and also the Training Cordinator.She is also a consultant for Gender awareness and HIV/AIDS sensitization for communities.

She has worked for Greenwich Council as a Policy Planning Commissioning Officer and she worked for as a Consultant for Abantu for Development, a UK based NGO.

Presently, as the Coordinator for Training, Justine is responsible for Design of training programs, implementation of all training programs of AND, including Instruction of all trainers in the field. She occasionally accompanies the trainers and participates in training herself.

Justine is a single mother, with one son and two grandchildren.
